Our Story
Denver's Best Heating and AC Repair was founded with one goal: to bring honest, expert HVAC service to Denver homeowners who were tired of being pushed toward unnecessary replacements and inflated repair quotes.
Over 10 years and thousands of service calls later, our reputation is built on a simple principle — we tell you the truth about your HVAC system. If your furnace can be repaired for $250, we will repair it for $250. We will not push you toward a $6,000 replacement unless it genuinely makes financial sense for you.
Our technicians bring 25+ years of combined HVAC experience, with specific expertise in Denver's altitude-related HVAC challenges, Colorado's climate extremes, and the evaporative cooler systems that are unique to the Front Range.
Our Certifications & Credentials
NATE certification
North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification is the HVAC industry's most recognized competency credential. NATE-certified technicians must pass rigorous technical exams and maintain continuing education for recertification. When you hire a NATE-certified technician, you know they have demonstrated real competency — not just years of service.
EPA Section 608 certification
EPA Section 608 certification is federally required for any technician who handles refrigerants (R-454B, R-32, R-22, etc.). It is not optional — it is the law. Our technicians hold this certification, which means refrigerant is handled legally, safely, and without unnecessary releases that harm the environment.
Individually licensed technicians
Every technician on our team carries their own Colorado HVAC license and EPA Section 608 certification. We do not send unlicensed helpers — the person who shows up at your door is credentialed to do the work. Ask to see their license card at any time.
Licensed, bonded & insured
We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance. This protects you as the homeowner — if anything goes wrong on-site, you are not liable. We provide certificates of insurance on request for property managers, general contractors, and homeowners who want verification.
